Here’s an incredible find for any Snoopy watch collector ~ an original, authentic Timex Snoopy watch display stand for Peanuts watches! This was originally used in a True Value hardware store to display the watches for sale in the 1970’s, and is in excellent condition. The display features an adorable Snoopy lying atop his doghouse, with one arm hanging down holding a sign that says "Snoopy and Friends, Snoopy, Copr. 1958 United Features Syndicate, Inc." There is a wristwatch attached to the arm as well. Two levels of the doghouse contain slotted areas which held the watch boxes, three on each level for a total of six boxes. This would make an unforgettable display piece to hold your Snoopy or other animated watch collection! You won’t find these available at any retail outlet, and this is the first we’ve ever seen of this particular model display. The Snoopy figure on top is composed of a very lightweight flexible plastic, and has a less than 1/2" tear just under his nose that is hard to see unless you know it’s there. There are a few minor abrasions on the head and stomach that would possible clean off. There is one tiny area on his ear that is missing the black paint, which looks more like a manufacturing mishap than damage to the piece. The rest of the stand is in mint condition, and is slightly dusty from being in storage for so many years.
