Here is a fabulous limited edition Disney timepiece that is sure to become a collector’s item treasured in the years to come ~ the Rodeo Mickey leather accented pocketwatch and neckkerchief set. This wonderfully themed set is one of a series of five thousand pieces manufactured by Fossil in 1992, made available exclusively for the Walt Disney theme parks and resorts. The set is in mint condition in its original packaging. This is an extremely rare find, as the set is very popular and there are few willing to sell the ones they have. They have been out of production for over thirteen years, and are very hard to find nowadays. The set ships in a wooden box with customized outer sleeve featuring the limited edition number of the set inside. The box has "Limited Edition Mickey Mouse Pocket Watch" printed on the lid with a picture of Rodeo Mickey. A silvertone latch opens to reveal the pocketwatch and matching kerchief resting on the inside, with the Certificate of Authenticity on the inside of the lid. The watch is an incredibly unique piece, prompting Tomart’s Disneyana Update to feature it in their "Watches - Then and Now" article in their No. 6 update in 1994 (see pic below). It was given as an example of a highly collectible timepiece that will probably be on "must have" collectors list even fifty years from now!
